Crabmeat Teche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large bell pepper, chopped
    2 large white onions, chopped
    6 ribs celery, chopped
    1 large can mushrooms (stems and pieces)
    3 cloves garlic (put through press)
    4 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    6 slices dry toast
    1 1/2 to 2 cans chicken broth
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper (freshly ground if possible)
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    1 tsp. oregano, pounded
    dash of hot sauce
    3/4 c. chopped parsley
    1 lb. can white lump crabmeat *
    3/4 c. cracker crumbs
    3 Tbsp. butter
    dash of paprika
Preparation
    *Equivalent amount of canned Alaskan King crabmeat may be substituted.
