Aunt Hazel'S Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 qt. sour pickles
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    5 lb. sugar
    1 pkg. pickling spice
Preparation
    Drain and rinse pickles.
    Slice into large crock and cover with ice.
    Let stand until all ice melts; drain.
    Combine rest of ingredients and pour over pickles.
    Stir every morning for 5 days. Pack and seal.
