Hot Spiced Cider(Serves 50.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 (2-inch) cinnamon sticks
    2 Tbsp. cloves (whole)
    2 Tbsp. allspice
    1 tsp. mace
    1 tsp. salt
    few grains cayenne pepper
    1 3/4 qt. brown sugar
    2 gal. cider
Preparation
    Tie spices lightly in cheesecloth bag. Add spices and sugar to cider. Heat slowly to boiling. Lower heat to simmer 15 minutes. Remove spice bag. Serve piping hot.
