Cheesy Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. minced onion
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 c. cooked carrots
    8 oz. medium noodles
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown beef in melted butter.
    As meat begins to turn color, add onion. Saute until meat is well browned.
    Stir in tomato sauce and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes.
    Combine sour cream, cottage cheese, carrots and cooked noodles.
    Mix well. Alternate layers of meat mixture and cottage cheese mixture in a greased 3-quart casserole dish, beginning and ending with noodles. Top with Cheddar cheese.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
