Corn Meal Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 tsp. onion, minced
1 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c. flour
Preparation

Combine corn meal, salt and pepper.
Gradually add to boiling water, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir until smooth.
Cool.
Add remaining ingredients except flour.
Mix thoroughly.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto floured wax paper.
Roll around on the flour to form balls.
Drop into boiling meat or chicken stew.
Cover tightly and steam 10 minutes.
