Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. roasted peanuts
    1 tsp. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Stir together sugar and syrup in a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Microwave on High for 4 minutes.
    Stir in peanuts; microwave on High for 3 to 5 minutes, until light brown.
    Add margarine and vanilla; stir well.
    Microwave on High for 1 to 2 minutes.
    Add baking soda and gently stir until light and foamy.
    Pour mixture onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Let cool 1/2 to 1 hour.
