Popovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. flour, sifted before measuring
Preparation
    Heat oven to hot (425\u00b0).
    Generously butter deep muffin cup. Beat eggs, milk, flour and salt with a rotary egg beater or mixer. Beat until smooth.
    Pour batter into cups and fill half.
    Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until puffed and brown.
    Serve immediately with butter.
