Fruit Swirl Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    1 1/2 t. baking powder
    2 t. vanilla
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1-2 T. milk
Preparation
    Blend sugar, butter, baking powder, vanilla and eggs with mixer on low speed. Scrape bowl constantly. Beat 3 minutes on high, scraping bowl constantly. Stir in flour. Spread 2/3 of the batter on a jelly roll pan. Spread pie filling over the batter. Drop remaining batter by tablespoonfuls onto pie filling. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Combine confectioners sugar and milk to make glaze. While the cake is still warm drizzle glaze on top.
