Double Chocolate Banana Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 c. each: granulated sugar and packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. each: baking powder, baking soda and salt
3 extra-ripe bananas
1/2 c. melted margarine
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. each: semi-sweet chocolate pieces and chopped almonds
Preparation

In mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa, sugars, baking powder, soda and salt.
Puree bananas in blender to measure 1 1/2 cups. Stir banana puree, margarine, eggs and vanilla into dry mixture. Mix until blended.
Stir in chocolate and almonds.
Pour batter into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 60 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan to rack.
Cool before slicing.
