Linda'S Venison Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 lb. venison, cut in cubes
    1/2 c. red wine vinegar
    salt and pepper
    1 glove garlic, minced
    1 tsp. chili powder
    4 stalks celery, chopped
    2 potatoes, cut into cubes
    2 medium onions, cut in wedges
    4 carrots, sliced
    1 can tomatoes
    1 (4 oz.) can green chiles, drained and chopped
Preparation
    Marinate venison in red wine vinegar for 3 to 4 hours; drain. Transfer venison to a large pot and cover with water.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Add garlic and chili powder.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Simmer for another 25 minutes.
