Sour Cream Candy(1960 Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. brown sugar
    1 c. sour cream
    pinch of salt
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. chopped English walnuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar and cream and cook at 240\u00b0 or soft ball stage. Remove from heat.
    Add pinch of salt and butter.
    Beat until mixture begins to grain.
    Stir in vanilla and nuts and pour into pan.
