Sugared Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 lb. (4 c.) pecans, coarsely chopped
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until foamy.
    Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form.
    Fold in pecans.
    Pour butter into a 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan. Spread pecan mixture over butter.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
    Cool and store in an airtight container.
    Yields 4 cups.
