Lucinda'S Fruit Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. raisins
    1 lb. fruit cake mixed candied fruit *
    1 lb. chopped pecans
    1/3 c. grape juice or any juice
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1 1/4 tsp. sweet milk
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cut fruit fine.
    Mix in raisins and nuts.
    Dredge with 1/2 cup flour.
    Cream butter well and gradually add sugar.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, and beat well.
    Sift flour, adding in spices.
    Add the soda to the creamed mixture, then add flour and liquid, blending well. Pour the batter over the floured fruit and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Drop by tablespoon on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
