Apple Crisp Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/8 c. flour
    1/2 c. margarine
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in bowl and work together with hands, as heat from hands softens margarine.
    Work until crumbly and small balls form.
    Sprinkle over top of apples prepared as for a pie. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until done.
