Sarah Chase'S Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
    2 c. French bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
    16 ripe plum tomatoes, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and black pepper to taste
    1/2 c. shredded basil leaves
    2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large nonstick skillet.
    Add the bread cubes and stir to coat. Saute over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the bread is lightly browned.
