Mezzela Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

11 sq. graham crackers
3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Beat egg whites until stiff; add baking powder, sugar and vanilla.
Beat again.
Fold in pecans and graham crackers. Butter a 9-inch pie plate and pour mixture in.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Cool.
Top with a medium tub Cool Whip and chopped pecans.
Refrigerate.
