Strawberry Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. thin pretzels, crushed
    3/4 c. melted margarine
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    9 oz. Cool Whip
    1 (6 oz.) strawberry jello
    2 c. boiling water
    1 (16 oz.) frozen chopped strawberries
    1 (9 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Crush pretzels and mix with margarine and 2 tablespoons sugar. Spread in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
    Blend together cream cheese, Cool Whip and 1 cup of sugar and spread over cooled crust.
    Dissolve jello in boiling water (2 cups).
    Add strawberries and drained pineapple.
    Chill until slightly thick. Pour over cream cheese mixture.
    Chill until firm.
