Gourmet Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. pkg. frozen peas
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 heaping Tbsp. chopped onion
    1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    2 oz. jar pimento
    1/2 (4 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained
    1/2 c. celery
Preparation
    Cook peas according to package instructions (do not overcook; peas should be bright green).
    Drain.
    Melt margarine; add chopped onion and celery.
    Cook slightly (celery should be crunchy).
    Add mushrooms, pimento and water chestnuts and heat thoroughly.
    Pour into drained peas.
    Mix and serve.
