Ingredients

6 eggs
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. margarine
3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 tsp. coconut flavoring
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
2 c. coconut (Angel Flake)
Preparation

Separate
egg
whites
in
a
large
bowl with yolks in another bowl.
Let egg whites warm to room temperature about 1 hour.
Grease
and flour 10-inch tube pan.\tBeat egg yolks and shortening\tand
margarine\tuntil well-blended.
Gradually add sugar,
beating light and fluffy.
Add extract and beat.
Beat in flour
in
fourths\tand alternate milk in thirds.
End with flour. Add coconut.
Beat in egg whites in peaks and fold in. Bake 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
Cool 15 minutes.
