Ingredients
- 
                            2 c. sugar
 
1 c. Crisco
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk plus 1 tsp. baking soda
about 5 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
- 
                            Blend sugar and Crisco.
 
Add egg, milk with baking soda and vanilla.
Beat well.
Mix in flour, a little at a time, making dough pretty stiff.
Roll out and cut.
Sprinkle dough with sugar. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
