Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. granulated brown sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    2/3 c. butter
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt butter and cool.
    Sift dry ingredients and add cooled butter.
    Add brown sugar, then add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Add chocolate chips and nuts.
    Mix thoroughly.
