Azra'S Khir(Indian Rice Pudding) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. milk
    1/3 c. basmati rice or other long grain, washed and drained
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. finely chopped blanched almonds
    3 whole cardamon seeds, crushed
    1 tsp. rose water
    1/4 c. whole almonds
Preparation
    In saucepan, 5 to 6-quart, bring milk to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly to prevent skin from forming.
    Reduce heat and stir.
    Cook for 30 minutes.
    Add rice and keep stirring for 30 minutes, or until rice is very soft and milk has disintegrated. Add the sugar and chopped almonds and stir for 15 minutes over low heat.
