Oatmeal Macaroons - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs (unbeaten)
1 1/4 c. flour
2 1/2 c. quick oatmeal
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Place shortening, sugar, vanilla and eggs in large mixing bowl; mix thoroughly.
Add oatmeal, dry ingredients, chocolate chips, coconut and nuts.
Mix thoroughly.
Drop by teaspoon on greased baking sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Yields about 7 dozen.
