Buttermilk Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in saucepan, except vanilla and nuts. Cook, stirring constantly, until soft ball or 234\u00b0 is reached. Remove from heat and add vanilla and nuts.
    Pour into 8 x 8-inch buttered dish and cool.
    Cut into squares.
