Party Stuffed Bell Peppers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large green bell peppers
2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed and chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 c. fine herb bread crumbs
1 (5 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Cut peppers in half through stem. Remove and discard seeds. Place peppers in a lightly greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan, cut side up. In a mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients; blend well. Use a scoop to equally divide beef mixture into inside of bell peppers. Press gently to fill all of inside. Heap on top if necessary. Pour 1 quart of prepared spaghetti sauce over tops and bake 30 minutes or until beef is cooked. Makes 12 servings.
