Pinto Bean Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 stick margarine
1 egg
2 c. cooked pinto beans, mashed
1 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 c. diced, peeled raw apples
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream sugar, butter, egg and mashed beans together.
Sift all dry ingredients together and add to mixture along with apples, raisins, nuts and vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour into greased tube pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
