Prune Whip(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. prunes, cooked and chopped
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. prune juice
    2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cook together the sugar and prune juice until candy thermometer reads 234\u00b0.
    Add hot syrup slowly to egg whites while continuing to beat.
    Add lemon juice and salt.
    Add prunes; continue beating until mixture holds its shape.
    Serve with Custard Sauce.
