Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 pt. milk
    1 pt. cream
    1 pt. bourbon
Preparation
    Beat separately egg yolks and whites.
    Add 1/4 cup sugar to yolks while beating.
    Add 1/4 cup sugar to whites after beating them very stiffly.
    Mix whites with yolks.
    Stir in cream, milk and then bourbon.
    Stir thoroughly.
    Serve very cold.
    Sprinkle a tiny amount of nutmeg on top of each serving.
    Yields 5 pints.
