Croquettes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Thick White Sauce (see recipe following)
    2 c. finely chopped or ground meat (beef, chicken, pork or ham)
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 tsp. parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. water
    3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
    1 pkg. frozen peas in cream sauce
    1 tsp. minced onion
Preparation
    Prepare Thick White Sauce.
    Stir in meat, 1 tablespoon minced onion and parsley.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Cover and chill for 2 hours.
    Divide mixture into 12 equal parts and shape each into a ball.
    Beat egg and water until blended.
    Dip each ball into the egg mixture, then roll in bread crumbs until well coated. Cover and chill again for about 2 hours.
