Wheatberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. uncooked wheat
    12 oz. Cool Whip
    2 small pkg. dry vanilla pudding
    8 oz. cream cheese
    15 oz. can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Cook wheat in water until soft (1 to 2 hours).
    Drain and cool. Combine cheese and pudding.
    Stir in drained pineapple.
    Add enough juice only to thicken pudding batter.
    Fold in Cool Whip, nuts and wheat.
    Chill.
    Makes a large amount.
