Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
Preparation

Melt margarine.
Add brown sugar, beaten egg, vanilla and dry ingredients.
Mix.
Add nuts.
Put into a greased and floured 8-inch square pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 to 25 minutes.
Do not overcook.
Recipe can be doubled.
When cool, frost.
