Sweeter Chex Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box Crispix
1/2 box Kix or Cheerios
1 sack pretzel sticks
1 can cashews or mixed nuts
1 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
1 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Cook margarine, brown sugar and syrup.
Bring to a boil.
Add baking soda.
Mix everything together in a brown paper bag.
Put in microwave for 2 1/2 minutes.
Shake, then cook 2 1/2 minutes more.
Add 1 pound M&M's.
Cool on waxed paper.
