Ingredients

1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 can blackberries
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 stick margarine, cut into pieces
Preparation

Pour blackberries into pot with 1/2 cup of sugar.
Heat over medium heat until boiling.
Remove from heat and add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
If necessary to thicken, cook with a little more sugar. Do not make it too sweet.
