Chiles Rellenos Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread, crusts removed
    butter or margarine
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles (I use more)
    6 eggs
    2 c. milk
    2 tsp. salt (optional)
    2 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Spread bread with butter.
    Place buttered side down in 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Top with 2 cheeses and sprinkle with chiles.
    Beat eggs until frothy.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Pour over casserole.
    Cover and chill overnight or at least 4 hours. Uncover and bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
