Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly; add sugar and salt.
    Add milk and vanilla. Mix well.
    Pour into 9-inch unbaked pie shell (chilled). Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350\u00b0, baking until knife comes out clean from center of pie, about 20 or 25 minutes.
