Gourmet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 medium potatoes
    1/4 c. butter/margarine
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil potatoes, but do not overcook.
    Cool, peel and grate. Melt over low heat the butter or margarine and Cheddar cheese. Stir into cheese, then combine with potatoes the sour cream, chopped onion, salt and pepper to taste.
    Spoon into buttered baking dish.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
