Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sliced cooking apples
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/3 c. sifted flour
1 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. melted butter
Preparation

Peel apples and wash.
Put into kettle to boil.
Add water to apples until it covers about 1/2 of the apples.
Boil until apples are soft and mushy.
Stir often so it doesn't scorch on the bottom of the kettle.
Add sugar and cinnamon.
Some apples are sweeter than others, so you will have to taste for sweetness.
