Almond Butter Crunch Wheel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. corn syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. blanched slivered almonds
Preparation
    Line 8 or 9-inch cake pan with foil and butter liberally.
    (Do not use nonstick pan.)
    Combine all ingredients in 10-inch skillet.
    Heat to boil over medium heat and boil 5 to 6 minutes. The mixture will be amber.
    Pour into pan and let set and cool for 15 minutes.
    Remove foil and break into pieces.
