Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can shredded sauerkraut, drained
    1 c. onions
    1 c. celery, cut up small
    1 green bell pepper, chopped fine
    1 can or jar pimento, chopped fine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Toss the sauerkraut, celery, bell pepper and pimento together in a medium size Pyrex dish.
    Put in a saucepan the onion, sugar and vinegar.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour this boiling mixture over ingredients in Pyrex dish.
    Let stand in refrigerator for 2 hours before serving.
