Ingredients

2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
4 Tbsp. flour
vanilla wafers
ripe bananas (4 to 6)
Preparation

Whirl milk, sugar, egg yolks, vanilla and flour in blender. Transfer to double boiler; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer until thick.
Do not scorch.
Alternate layering vanilla wafers in a casserole dish (larger than 2-quart) and bananas.
Pour pudding over.
Top with meringue.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until lightly browned.
