Cherry Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. light corn syrup
3/4 c. water
2 egg whites
1/2 pkg. (3 Tbsp.) cherry Jell-O
1/2 c. nuts
pinch of salt

Preparation

Combine sugar, syrup and water and bring to hard boil.
Beat egg whites to fairly stiff, adding 1 tablespoon Jell-O at a time. Pour hot syrup over mixture.
Drop from spoon.
