Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 oz. red food coloring (may use 1 bottle color and 1 water)
    3 Tbsp. Nestle liquid chocolate (1 pkg.)
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. cake flour, sifted 3 times
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar together.
    Add eggs, food coloring and liquid chocolate.
    Mix well and add buttermilk, flour, salt and vanilla.
    Mix well and add vinegar and soda.
    Stir until well blended.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Makes 2 layers.
