Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green peppers
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 c. cooked rice (about 2/3 c. uncooked)
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1 1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce
Preparation
    Cut green peppers in half lengthwise.
    Remove seeds and wash. Combine ground beef with rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 can tomato sauce.
    Pile lightly into pepper halves.
    Place in a large baking dish.
    Pour tomato sauce on top of each pepper.
    Cover tightly and bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours or until peppers are tender, basting occasionally.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
