Gino Hot Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. white vinegar
    2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 clove garlic
    1/4 tsp. alum
    hot peppers
Preparation
    Strip peppers into rings.
    Boil vinegar, water and sugar.
    Put salt, garlic and alum into a jar.
    Pack jar with peppers tightly and pour vinegar mixture over peppers.
    Seal jar and wait 30 days to eat.
