Daffodil Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. flour, sifted
    6 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 egg yolks, beaten
    3/4 c. cake flour, sifted
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until foamy; add cream of tartar.
    Beat until stiff.
    Fold in 3/4 cup of sugar; add 1 teaspoon vanilla; add 1/2 cup flour and salt.
    Fold into mixture.
    Pour into ungreased angel cake pan.
