Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. milk
    dash of salt
    1 large can peaches or 1 qt. fresh peaches, plus 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. peach juice
    1 stick margarine
Preparation
    Add the 1/2 cup sugar to the peaches and boil.
    Drain peaches. Add 1 1/4 cups sugar to peach juice and boil.
    Melt 1 stick margarine in a 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add milk.
    Stir enough to mix.
    Roll out on a floured board to 1/8-inch thick.
    Spread peaches on dough.
    Roll up like a jelly roll.
    Slice into 1-inch pieces and lay in buttered dish.
    Pour sugar and juice over slices.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes, or until brown.
