Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small pound or angel food cake
    1/2 c. raspberry jam
    1 (4 serving) pkg. vanilla pudding
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen raspberries or 1 pt. fresh
    1 can fruit cocktail, drained or fresh strawberries, kiwi fruit or fruit of your choice
    whipped cream or Cool Whip
Preparation
    Break cake into pieces.
    Spread pieces with raspberry jam. Cook pudding with 1 teaspoon of vanilla according to package directions.
    Layer into bowl as follows:
    cake, pudding, fruit and whipped cream.
    May top with sliced almonds and fresh fruit as sliced strawberries or cherries as garnish.
