Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. butter (not oleo or margarine, must be softened at room temperature, not in microwave)
2 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Mix thoroughly butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Refrigerate until chilled, at least 2 hours.
Drop onto aluminum ungreased cookie sheet with ice cream scoop.
Bake 22 to 24 minutes at 300\u00b0.
