Skillet Beef Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, minced
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 lb. ground beef or more
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 can beef bouillon plus water to make 2 c.
Preparation
    Saute onions and bell pepper in oil; add meat.
    Crumble and let brown.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Add rice and stir over low heat until rice looks translucent (about 3 minutes).
    Add broth slowly; cover and simmer until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
