Quiche Scandia - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. green onions
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. green pepper, finely chopped
2 tsp. caraway seed
4 slices Swiss cheese
4 oz. cooked ham, diced
6 eggs
1 c. half and half
salt and pepper to taste
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
3 Tbsp. bacon bits
Preparation

Melt butter; saute onions and pepper until tender.
Add caraway seed.
Remove from heat.
Combine ham and cheese in bottom of pie shell.
Add bacon bits.
Beat eggs, half and half, salt and pepper.
Stir in onion mixture.
Pour 2 1/2 cups eggs mix into pie shell.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Let stand and cut in 4 to 6 wedges.
